Ready for the Wedding

Ellis and her cousin, Laura Kate, will be flower girls in Aunt Laura's wedding in August. The girls have so much fun "practicing" for the big day. Ellis cannot decide if she wants to be a flower girl or a wedding singer!

4th of July!

Ellis spent several days at MaMa and PaPa's beach house. She had so much fun watching a golf cart parade, playing on the beach and watching the fireworks with her cousins.

Pool Time!

Our pool is finally ready and Ellis is loving it! She even got in the pool with her clothes on! Check out the little pigtails!

A Trip to the Aquarium

These are some great pictures of Ellis and her buddy, Lan. Miranda and I took the kids to the beach for one night, and what a wild time we had! I never could get the 2 friends to stand close for a picture. They did have fun!

Dance Party

Ellis was so happy to see her daddy yesterday that she danced and danced. Brooks had been on a trip with the guys this weekend. She went to Mary Clare's Party and then we danced and danced in the kitchen. This is an action shot!

Splish, Splash

Ellis went swimming with Daniel and Elizabeth Grace today. They splashed and splashed! Ellis had the most fun watching her "big" friends jump in the pool and swim. Swimming is the way to beat the heat!

Just Relaxing!

I am finally finished with work and summer has officially started! Ellis enjoyed being able to just relax in her gown at our house this morning. We were not in a big hurry to get out the door! Summer is going to be some much fun!

"Dancing" in the RAIN!

During the BIG storm today, Ellis had her first dance class at Brenda Cranford's School of Dance. She had so much fun! Mommy was even allowed to leave the class-- that's why there are no pics of the class-- only pics. before and after. She danced to the Wiggles and Barney songs. She is already ready for her next class.

Ellis will soon be 2!

It's hard to believe that Ellis will soon be 2! This is a picture of her last summer at the Bannister's beach house. She was almost small enough to fit in the 4th of July bowl!

Firsts

Yes, Ellis has had 3 haircuts. She had her first haircut just before Christmas and since then she is getting so much hair. Maybe, before the end of the summer we will have pigtails! This is Ellis just after her first haircut...her little fresh cut sprigs are in the bag.
